Richmond Jamia Mosque

Tour BC’s very first purpose-built mosque, which blends traditional and western architecture. View the various spaces in the facility and learn about the faith and practice of the world’s diverse Muslim communities. Meet members of Richmond’s Sunni Muslim community, which represents the largest branch of Islam worldwide. Enjoy multimedia and virtual reality presentations related to aspects of Islamic faith, practice, traditions, art, architecture, and history.

Modest attire for all genders (no shorts, short skirts, or sleeveless tops). Headscarves for female guests would be considered respectful but is not mandatory. Shoes will need to be removed if entering the prayer spaces.
