The Richmond Museum aims to inspire curiosity about our community’s history while exploring our place in the world. The Museum’s Vision is to make the history of Richmond relevant, engaging and accessible.

Saturday June 3 – Cedar: Tree of Life Workshop

Join Musqueam weaver, Vivian Mearns Notaro, as she shares her knowledge of cedar weaving. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own craft while learning about the importance of cedar bark and how it is harvested, prepared and used.

This program is designed for families. Parents and guardians are REQUIRED to stay onsite with their children.

Note on allergies: This program works with fresh and dried cedar bark.
