Doors Open Richmond

June 6-7, 2026 | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

19th Annual Doors Open Richmond 2026

Doors Open Richmond is a free annual event that invites residents and visitors to explore the people, places, and stories that make Richmond unique. Celebrating the city’s rich cultural diversity, the event fosters civic awareness and offers behind-the-scenes access to community spaces across Richmond.

This year, 45 partner sites will participate, including art studios, national historic sites, working farms, and faith-based organizations, each offering a unique window into the communities that shape Richmond.

Looking for something new this year? Don’t miss out on the five new sites welcoming in-person visits:

  • Alexandra District Energy Utility
  • Branscombe House – Kai Liu
  • Marion Webber Art
  • Richmond Arts Coalition
  • Richmond Potters’ Club

While most programs are available on a walk-in basis, the following sites require advance registration.

Bus Tours

The highly anticipated, free bus tours will continue to be in operation this year. Register with the 8-digit Course ID at www.richmond.ca/register. Spaces are limited and often sell out well in advance of Doors Open weekend.
