Steveston Tram

Experience authentic interurban rail travel and learn about early transportation in Richmond at the Steveston Tram museum. Climb aboard Tram Car 1220, one of the original trams that ran on Richmond’s rail system. Talk with tram restoration volunteers and discover the stories of how they helped to restore Tram Car 1220 to its original brilliance. Kids will enjoy restoring railway spikes and exploring the exhibits with a scavenger hunt.
